Key Performance Outputs:

The successful candidate, reporting to the Company Secretary Manager will be responsible for the following:


Ensure accurate and timeous dissemination of the board, EXCO, board committees and management committee??s programmes.
Provide corporate governance support to the relevant governance structures.
Drive and ensure systems implementation and maintenance (Great Soft).
Assist in gathering information for inclusion in the Company??s Integrated Report.
Provide support in the preparation of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and actions emanating therefrom.
Ensure timeous payment and submission to payroll of directors?? emoluments.
Provide input to the formulation and drafting of the Year Planner.
Ensure timeous and proper arrangement of meetings and distribution of agenda and packs for the board, EXCO, board and management committees.
Compile resolutions and action logs from meetings and ensure timeous distribution thereof.
Produce required documents and reports as per agreed schedules and ensure that minutes are taken accurately and concisely.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and confidentiality of information.
Provide input in formulation and implementation of Committee Terms of Reference and Work Plans.
Build, support and maintain healthy internal and external Stakeholder Relations to ensure achievement of organisational goals.


Technical Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate must be in possession of a relevant Bachelor Degree or CIS qualification supported by 5 years technical experience within the Company Secretariat area. Membership with Chartered Secretaries South Africa or Institute of Directors will be an added advantage.
This position requires someone with a meticulous approach to issues and administrative skills and in-depth knowledge of Corporate Governance Principles, relevant Codes and Legislation, particularly the Companies Act, Public Finance Management Act and King III.
Quality Management and Presentation are viewed as critical in this role.
Knowledge and experience of MS Office applications is required.
