Introduction
Barloworld Transport, a leading freight and logistics company, is looking for a Personal Assistant to join our Manline depot in Pietermaritzburg.
Description

To provide administrative and project support to the Managing Directors of Manline Freight and Manline Energy with the aim of enabling the Directors to achieve their objectives. Duties herewith include:

  • Manage and co-ordinate the Managing Director's diary including the arranging, minute taking and co-ordination of meetings.
  • Execute general administrative duties - filing, scanning etc.
  • Booking of accommodation, travel and vehicle arrangements for both the Energy and Freight business units.
  • Arrange and co-ordinate on site visits.
  • Arrange and co-ordinate both Managing Director's monthly SMARTCOMS.
  • Arrange company functions and end of year functions for office staff and drivers in both business units.
  • Arrange and co-ordinate customer engagement functions, “what's up Wednesdays” and monthly driver braai.
  • Arrange and co-ordinate end of year corporate gifts for customers and drivers for both business units.
  • Reconcile and process reimbursement and personal claims for the Managing Directors.
Profile
  • Matric/ Grade 12.
  • Minimum two years senior PA or administrative experience.
  • Relevant diploma in business administration.
  • Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Organizational skills.
