Introduction
Barloworld Transport, a leading freight and logistics company, is looking for an HR Administrator to join our Barlowpark office in Sandton.
Description

To provide administrative support to HR operations within the relevant Business Unit and/or Functional
Department in accordance with company policies and procedures. Duties herewith include:

  • Assist with the administration requirements of the driver and non-driver recruitment process.
  • Support the administration of discipline and employee relations processes.
  • Complete payroll administration processes and procedures including wage sheets and printing of payslips.
  • Assist with the administration requirements of driver and non-driver training interventions.
  • Provide administrative support to the implementation of health and wellness campaigns.
  • Track and complete administrative requirements for annual and pre-employment medicals in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support for the running requirements of the employment equity and skills development committees (incl. meeting minutes, scheduling dates, communicating information etc.).
  • Assist with the administration requirements of the implementation of interventions associated with the Smart Trucker employee value proposition model.
  • Assist with the implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Understand and implement HR policies and procedures within the relevant business unit and/or functional department.
  • Assist with the Implementation of Sage VIP People.
Profile
  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Minimum one year previous experience in an HR administrative role.
  • Strong working knowledge of VIP.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of HR related legislation and practices.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of employment contract law and legislation.
  • Relevant HR related degree or qualification.
  • Driver's license.
